After care advices a Facial Treatment:

  • Do not apply make up for up to 14 hours after the treatment to allow the skin to fully absorb the products have been used in your treatment;

  • Avoid Caffeine or Alcohol because these are highly dehydrating to the skin, making the skin dry and dull;

  • Drinking plenty of water (1.5 - 2 litres a day) which help improve the skins complexion and release body of toxins and refreshing your skin;

  • Try to avoid the sun immediately after your treatment buy wearing sun cream, and hat to help prevent skin damage;

  • Use products recommended to you during your treatment for home use;

  • Apply cleansing and moisturise your skin twice a day;

  • Exfoliate and apply a mask at less twice a month;

  • Do not smoke because smoking causes narrowing of the blood vessels in the outermost layers of your skin, impairing blood flow and depleting the skin of oxygen and nutrients. Smoking also damages collagen and elastin, causing the skin to sag and wrinkle prematurely;

  • Keep calm and avoid excess stress, which major cause of premature ageing;

  • Have a fantastic diet such as: fresh organic fruits and vegetables;

  • Avoid direct heat, such as a sauna, hot bath, shower or hot hairdryer;

  • For long term results use the prescribed products for home care and book in for treatments twice a month;

Some reaction may have after facial treatment

Redness and Irritation

The most common side effects of a facial are redness and achy skin from the pressure of exfoliation and extractions. If this happen washing your face straight away with cold water, using only vitamin E lotion cream for moisturise, avoid wearing makeup or using any products on your skin in two or three following days to help with skin healing process.

Breakouts

Post-facial breakouts often result from bacteria that makes its way onto your skin during your facial. Make sure all tools are taken directly from a sanitizing machine, before the start of your facial.

Scarring

When therapy uses their fingers or tools to extract impurities from your pores, that is a risk of damaging the outer layer of your skin and can cause cuts and bleeding even scarring. To protect yourself and decrease your chance of infection, be sure that your therapy is wearing gloves.

Dryness

Harsh exfoliation can leave your skin feeling dried out and itchy. Use a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer daily to combat dryness. Avoid sun exposure after your facial because UV rays can further exacerbate dry skin;
